Join Mexic-Arte Museum and Dr. Paul Hart, PhD for a lecture on Mexican Revolutionary icon, Emiliano Zapata. In honor of Zapata’s centennial death anniversary, the Mexic-Arte Museum created an ofrenda in his honor for our annual Dia de los Muertos exhibit, along with prints from the special edition portfolio: Viva Zapata!

We will examine these works  as well as discuss Dr. Hart’s award-winning book, in relation to the legacy of Zapata in Mexico and abroad.

Paul Hart is a professor of History, and the Director of the Center for International Studies at Texas State University. He received his BA from the University of Texas at Austin, and his PhD from the University of California, San Diego. His areas of study are modern Mexico and U.S.-Latin American relations.
