Come explore the theme of this years Mix n Mash Exhibit: Cosmologia at our second annual ART PARTY! Guests who attend will get a surface to create their own piece of art using a variety of media (paint, collage, ink, etc) provided by the museum. Everyone takes their piece home at the end of the event. We will be serving wine and light bites. Our special guest, Victoria O’Dell, will be on site doing tarot readings to inspire your art making.

Mexic-Arte Museum’s Media Mixer workshops, are a series of informal adult art-making and discussion classes for all levels on selected Thursday evenings. Artists invited by the museum create workshops around current exhibit works or themes. Media Mixers are a unique opportunity for members of the community to get up close and personal with professional artists and their work, as well as learn a new art making technique. Media Mixers are open to the public with a material fee based on the lesson and always free to members. Admission includes all materials for the workshop as well as refreshments. Guests take home their projects at the end of the event.
