Teachers’ Night

The Education Department at Mexic-Arte Museum invites K-12 teachers for a special preview of our Fall exhibitions, Frida and Diego: A Smile in the Middle of the Way and Community Altars: Love to Death. 

Discover teaching methods for incorporating Día de los Muertos activities into your curriculum and learn how to be a part of the Museum’s 34th annual Viva la Vida parade and festival with your students on Saturday, October 28th, 2017! Artists, Monica and Sergio Lejarazu from Jumpolin Piñatas, will conitinue their Artist in Residence program, showcasing piñatas. 

A presentation by Education Coordinator, Olivia Tamzarian and Education Associate, Stephanie Sandoval will begin at 7:00 with light refreshments to follow.
