Mexic-Arte Musem’s annual Mix ‘n’ Mash exhibition is a fundraising event featuring the works of local artists. Created on quality panels donated by Ampersand Art Supply, each limited-edition Mix ‘n’ Mash artworks is uniquely crafted for the exhibition with proceeds benefiting the Museum’s exhibitions and programs.
Join us for the Mix ‘n’ Mash Artists Meetup and Paint Party in support of the Museum’s annual art sale and exhibition. Artist Yocelyn Riojas and Latinx Creatives Meetup will be facilitating a creator space for artists (and aspiring artists) to meet up and work on their boards for the Mix 'n' Mash exhibition. Mexic-Arte Museum will provide art supplies and boards for participants as well as light refreshments.

ABOUT LATINX CREATIVES MEETUP
The Latinx Creatives Meetup's mission is to create an inclusive space in which Latinx residents of Austin can come together and network, find support, and learn about what others are doing in the community. In 2018, the meetup hosted their first event at Jolt Texas. The meetup returns with 3 meetups planned for 2019. Founders Javier Gonzalez and Jeanette Nevarez will be present meeting more Latinx artists.
** Boards painted at the event will be considered a donation to the museum if sold, and will be on display during the Mix ‘n’ Mash exhibition. Artists who have already contributed a board are invited to join us and make another board at one of these events.
